Prices are in USD and include the standard four-day, three-night Artesian trophy experience. All Elk will be scored and priced SCI Green Gross Score. Each base price includes the minimum score shown for that class; the listed rate applies to each additional whole inch. Trophy class is based on gross score rounded to the nearest whole inch. Animal selection, availability and final pricing are confirmed before booking.

Field dressing, quartering and cooling, trophy preparation and caping are handled with care. We can also help with recommendations for processing and taxidermy, plus travel or shipping coordination where applicable.

A private Central Alberta hunting experience built on an established breeding program, mature animals and thoughtful hospitality from arrival through departure.
Conveniently located between Calgary and Edmonton, approximately 90 minutes from either international airport. Exact preserve location and arrival instructions are provided to confirmed guests.

Is the preserve reserved exclusively for my group?
Yes. Confirmed hunts are structured to keep the preserve and hosted experience private to your group.
Is my hunt fully guided?
Yes. Experienced guides support preparation, the pursuit and field care throughout your stay.
What is the preserve terrain like?
Artesian Big Game Preserve offers rolling terrain, open sightlines, aspen and poplar groves, evergreens, tall slough grass, dense cover, creeks and wetlands.
Can I customize the length of my stay?
Yes. The standard trophy experience is four days and three nights, with shorter stays, extra nights and other arrangements available by request.
Can I stay off-site?
Yes. Off-site accommodation can be arranged into the plan when preferred.
Are non-hunting family and friends welcome?
Absolutely. Adult non-hunting guests are $250 USD, and youth non-hunting guests under 18 are $125 USD. Tell us who you would like to bring and we will confirm suitable group and accommodation arrangements.
Are young hunters welcome?
Absolutely, Artesian is a great place for hunters under the age of 18 to learn and experience hunting. These hunters require parental or guardian supervision.
What other species or opportunities are available?
Management bulls, cow elk, bison and whitetail may be available. Timing and availability vary, so these opportunities are handled by inquiry.
What happens after harvest?
We provide field dressing, carcass cooling and trophy preparation. Artesian can also assist with the logistics of processing the meat, taxidermy,and travel or shipping logistics where applicable.
What if I am travelling from outside Alberta?
Contact us early. We will provide private arrival details and help you plan practical logistics; guests remain responsible for applicable travel, firearms and import requirements.
